Workplace fatality, due to fall, under investigation at Lethbridge, AB school construction site

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating after a man died following a fall at a construction site in Lethbridge Wednesday afternoon.

Wayne Wood, a spokesperson with OHS, said a 51-year-old man was “completing welding activities” on the roof of a school when he fell 30 feet. It happened at a yet-to-be-named elementary school in Legacy Ridge. Read the full story.
